RE: Non Pesticide Cockroach Control

Regularly clean and green pest control is key to preventing a cockroach infestation, but there are also other easy prevention measures available. For example- To get rid of cockroach, a simple method is placing 2 tablespoons of very hot sauce in one quart of water then mix well and spray the areas where a problem exist. If you follow the following guidelines, this may help you -
1) Cleanliness: Cockroaches are attracted to food and water. Keep pipes from leaking and keep food areas clean and tidy. Clean up promptly after meals and cooking. Cover food containers, pet food containers, and garbage containers.
2) Seal open entrances: Cockroaches can enter a kitchen or home through the smallest of openings. Plug any entrance size holes to prevent roaches from entering.
3) Prevention: Before bringing items home, check containers, boxes, and bags. Items that have been stored for a long period of time outside of the home are especially likely to have a cockroach problem.

RE: Non Pesticide Cockroach Control

I think that all procedures migth be combined.

Of course, first of all, we must assure a neat cleanliness and a safe food storage. Croaches need water more than food, thus all water sources must be eliminated.

This includes a good cleaning procedure, not splashing water all around tha place ( we in Spain love to do that).

Hot sauces etc can prevent croaches from incoming, but will not kill the ones that are allready there.

So, chemicals are a must. Best choice is baiting.

Aurelio Alcalde
